I have seen this described differently in several books. “Lady Affixing a Penant”, “Lady Affixing a Pennant”, “Lady Affixing a Pendant” and “Lady Affixing a Pennant to a Knight’s Lance.” The other title I’ve read and even prefer is “Before the Battle”.
